Service process
How do I create a service request?
On the Online Fault Report form, choose your model, describe the fault and add photos, a video, the serial number and your invoice if you have them. When you submit, your Servis No and the time of the report appear on screen, and you can message us on WhatsApp with that number. If you would rather skip the form, start directly on WhatsApp.
Why do you ask for an online report before I bring the scooter?
Photos and video let a technician see the fault in advance, so you learn the warranty status and the next step before the scooter travels anywhere. For in-warranty repairs, the legal repair period also starts with this fault notification.
How do I get the scooter to you? Do you offer pickup or on-site service?
There are two ways: bring it to our workshop in Avcılar, or send it by cargo from any of Türkiye's 81 provinces. We don't offer courier pickup or on-site service.
Which products do you service?
We service Segway-Ninebot eKickScooters only, both in and out of warranty. GoKarts, self-balancing vehicles and other Segway products are outside our scope.
Why can't I see repair prices on the site?
Every fault is different, so we don’t publish prices. You receive a quote after the online pre-assessment, and nothing is done without your approval. In-warranty repairs carry no charge for labour, parts or anything else.
Warranty
How long is the warranty?
Segway Türkiye's warranty runs for 2 years from delivery, which is the legal minimum. If the scooter fails, the time spent on repair is added to the warranty period.
What falls outside the warranty?
Segway Türkiye defines six cases: 1) The warranty period has expired. 2) Damage caused by force majeure. 3) The invoice details do not match the actual product. 4) The SN inside the vehicle (in the app) does not match the SN on the vehicle. 5) Not intended for local sale. 6) Human-caused damage (water ingress, external impact, puncture, etc.). The first five apply to the whole vehicle; the sixth applies only to the damaged parts.
Is the Warranty Pre-check result final?
No. The pre-check gives you an early indication based on your answers and is not binding. The final decision is made after we inspect the scooter.
I was told it was “user error”. What can I do?
User error has to be established in a written report from the authorized service, and you must be given a copy. You can challenge the report before the Consumer Arbitration Committee or a consumer court. Whenever we assess a fault as out of warranty, we explain the cause in writing, with photos.
My scooter is water resistant. Is water damage covered?
An IP rating shows how well the scooter resists water under set conditions; it isn't a waterproof guarantee. Under Segway Türkiye's terms, water ingress is human-caused damage (scenario 6) and puts the affected parts outside the warranty. The manuals rule out hoses and pressure washers. After heavy rain, dry the scooter, don't open it, and have it checked.
I've lost my invoice. Can I still use the warranty?
The warranty check looks at the invoice together with the serial number on the scooter. You can ask the seller to resend your e-Archive invoice. Even if you can't find it, submit the report and we'll work through your case with you.
Do you service scooters bought abroad?
Yes, as a paid repair. Units not sold for the Turkish market are outside Segway Türkiye's warranty (scenario 5), so the repair goes ahead on a quote and with your approval.
Mail-in service
Who pays for cargo on an in-warranty repair?
During the warranty period, transport and cargo costs can't be charged to the consumer; the only exception is use contrary to the user manual. For out-of-warranty work, the cargo terms are set out in writing with your quote.
How do I send my scooter by cargo?
Start with an online service request. After the pre-assessment, your shipping slip with the Servis No and a QR code is ready. Print it, put it in the package, hand the scooter in at a cargo branch and keep the tracking number.
How should I pack the scooter?
The original box is best. Otherwise use a strong cardboard box with padding and protect the handlebar and stem. Fold the scooter and switch it off. Before shipping, photograph both sides, the serial-number label and the display, and add them to your request; they protect both sides if anything is damaged in transit.
Should I send the charger too?
If the fault isn't about charging, leave out the charger and accessories such as phone holders, bags and locks. If it is a charging problem, say so on the form and include the charger.
Can I ship a scooter with a swollen or damaged battery?
No. Don't ship, charge or open a battery that is swollen, leaking or has taken a hit. Keep the scooter in an open area away from anything flammable, and call or WhatsApp us first so we can agree on a safe way forward.
Parts and care
Do you use original parts?
Yes. As an authorized service we repair with original Segway parts, and every replaced part is logged on your service record.
Can I see or keep the replaced part?
On in-warranty repairs, the replaced part is shown to you. On out-of-warranty repairs, the old part is returned to you, subject to environmental rules.
My tyre is punctured. Is it covered?
A puncture counts as human-caused damage (scenario 6) under Segway Türkiye's terms, so replacing the tyre, and the valve if needed, is paid. A manufacturing defect is assessed under warranty. Self-sealing tyres can close small holes in the tread: Segway gives the limit as 4 mm for the Max G3, and sidewall cuts aren't covered by that claim.
Are wear parts such as brake pads and tyres covered?
Normal wear from use and a manufacturing fault are assessed separately. At inspection we look at why the part wore, and send you the decision in writing with the reasons.
How do I look after the battery, and when does it need replacing?
For the F3, Segway expects capacity to stay above 70% of nominal after 500 charge cycles; if your range has dropped noticeably, have the battery tested. Charge after every ride and don't run it flat: damage from over-charging or over-discharging isn't covered. For long storage, charge to at least 50% and top up every 30–60 days, and never charge below 0 °C.
Safety and legal
Can you remove the speed limit?
No. Turkish law defines an e-scooter as a vehicle whose speed reaches at most 25 km/h. We don't make software or hardware changes that lift the speed limit; they take the scooter outside the legal definition and put the warranty at risk.
Which rules apply when riding an e-scooter?
Riders must be at least 15. Use the cycle path or lane where there is one, and keep off pavements, motorways, intercity roads and roads with limits above 50 km/h. Carry no passengers and ride with both hands except when signalling. Breaking these rules carries an administrative fine.
What equipment is mandatory?
A white headlight that lights at least 20 metres ahead, a red rear light and a red reflector, and a bell or horn that can be heard from 30 metres. If any of these stops working, have it repaired before you ride.
How can I tell whether a service is really authorized?
Authorized services are registered in the Ministry of Trade's Service Information System (SERBİS, servis.gov.tr). You can also ask the Segway Türkiye call center on 0 850 532 05 15. Our Authorized Service page walks you through checking our status.
How is my personal data handled?
We collect only what a service request needs. Our KVKK privacy notice explains why your data is processed and which transfers go abroad. Explicit consent and marketing permission are separate and optional, and the service never depends on them.
Tracking
What is the Servis No for?
Your Servis No (e.g. AZZ-2026-000123) is the reference you get when we receive your report, recorded together with the time of the report. For in-warranty repairs, the legal repair period starts from that notification. Quote it whenever you contact us.
How do I see where my repair is?
Enter your Servis No and the last 4 digits of your phone number on the Track page. You see every stage from the fault report to delivery, with dates and times.
How long does a repair take?
It depends on the fault and on parts. After the inspection we post an estimated ready date on the Track page. For in-warranty repairs, the legal maximum repair period runs from the date of the fault notification, and you are told the completion date by phone, SMS or e-mail.
What happens if I don't approve the quote?
Nothing is done without your approval. If you decline the quote, the scooter is handed back or shipped back to you unrepaired, on the terms written in the quote.
How do I give feedback after the service?
Once your scooter is back, you can fill in a short feedback form from the Track page. For complaints and suggestions you can also reach us on WhatsApp, by phone or by e-mail.
