1. Scope
These terms apply to the in-warranty and out-of-warranty service that AZZ TEKNOLOJİ VE BİLİŞİM HİZMETLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“Azz Teknoloji”; Cihangir Mah. E-5 Yanyol (Londra Asfaltı) Cad. A Blok No: 291/2S İç Kapı No: 17, 34310 Avcılar/İstanbul; Avcılar Tax Office · VKN 1271266434 · MERSİS 0127126643400001) provides for Segway-Ninebot eKickScooters. You can bring your scooter to our workshop in Avcılar or send it by cargo from any of Türkiye's 81 provinces. We don't offer courier pickup or on-site service.
2. Fault report
- The service process starts with the online fault report on the site, WhatsApp, phone, email or a visit to the workshop. Every request is recorded with a Servis No and the time of the report.
- For in-warranty faults, the legal maximum repair period starts on the date the fault is reported to us or to the seller; for out-of-warranty faults, on the date the scooter is delivered to us.
- The online pre-inspection, based on photos and video, is a preliminary assessment. The final decision is made after the scooter has been inspected at the workshop.
- For scooters dropped off at the workshop, we issue a service intake receipt recording the fault and the scooter's condition. For scooters sent by cargo, we let you know separately once they have arrived.
3. Diagnosis and warranty assessment
A technician diagnoses the fault and assesses the warranty status on the basis of your product's warranty certificate and the Segway Türkiye warranty policy. Segway Türkiye treats these cases as out of warranty:
- The warranty period has expired.
- Damage caused by force majeure.
- The invoice details do not match the actual product.
- The SN inside the vehicle (in the app) does not match the SN on the vehicle.
- Not intended for local sale.
- Human-caused damage (water ingress, external impact, puncture, etc.).
Cases 1–5 apply to the whole vehicle and case 6 applies part by part, meaning only the damaged part is assessed as out of warranty. Out-of-warranty decisions are sent to you in writing with their reasons and, where possible, with photos. Details: Warranty.
4. Quote and approval
- No paid work is done without your approval. For every out-of-warranty job you receive a written quote (WhatsApp, SMS or email) before any work starts.
- If an additional fault that is not in the quote turns up during the repair, we ask for your approval again for that work.
- If you decline the quote, your scooter is handed back or shipped back to you unrepaired. Any fees that may apply in that case (such as out-of-warranty diagnosis and return cargo) are stated in writing in the quote.
- Every fee that may be charged appears in the price list displayed at our workplace and shown electronically. No fee that is not in the price list is charged.
5. Warranty and legal rights
- The warranty period is at least 2 years from the date the product was delivered to you, and the time spent on repairs is added to it.
- For in-warranty repairs, you are not charged for repair, parts or cargo, unless the scooter was used against the user manual.
- Parts replaced under warranty are shown to you; parts replaced in out-of-warranty repairs are returned to you, provided this does not breach environmental regulations.
- By law, parts replaced in an out-of-warranty repair carry a warranty of at least six months, and if the same fault recurs within one year you are not charged, except in cases of misuse.
These rights come from the law: the After-Sales Services Regulation (Art. 10, 11, 13) and the Warranty Certificate Regulation (both in Turkish).
6. Cargo and packing
- For in-warranty repairs you are not charged for cargo in either direction. Contracted carrier and shipment code details: […]
- For out-of-warranty repairs, you are told before shipping who pays for cargo.
- The sender is responsible for packing the scooter as described in the Mail-in Service guide. Use the original box if you can. Transport damage caused by inadequate packing is claimed from the carrier, and we help you with that process.
- Don't send accessories unrelated to the fault (phone holder, bag, lock), or the charger unless the fault is about charging.
- Don't ship, charge or open a scooter whose battery is swollen, leaking or has taken a knock. Call us or message us on WhatsApp first, and we will work out a safe way together. Lithium battery transport rules follow the contracted carrier's conditions.
7. Data and software on the scooter
- To diagnose the fault we may read your scooter's serial number, firmware version and error logs. We don't access your Segway app account and never ask for your password.
- If a passcode or lock is enabled on your scooter, please switch it off before handing it over, or tell us how to unlock it.
- As part of the repair, the scooter's firmware may be updated to the latest version released by Segway.
- We don't remove speed limits or modify the scooter's software. Details: Speed Limit Guide.
8. Collection and unclaimed scooters
- When the repair is finished, you are told by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email. The scooter is handed over, or shipped, with a service slip showing the work done and the parts replaced.
- Scooters to be collected from the workshop should be collected within […] days of the ready notice. If a scooter is not collected in that time, we send you a written reminder; storage conditions and any fee are set out in the price list. […]
9. Liability
- Your scooter is looked after carefully while it is with us, and we are responsible, within the law, for the work we do and the parts we fit.
- We are not responsible for existing damage recorded at intake, for faults caused by use against the user manual after collection, or for items unrelated to the fault left on the scooter or in the package.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502.
10. Complaints and disputes
For any complaint or suggestion, reach us through the channels on the Contact page. In a dispute, you may apply to the consumer arbitration committee or the consumer court where you live or where the transaction took place, within the monetary limits set each year.
