Segway error code 39: Battery temperature abnormal

What does this code mean?

The battery is outside its working temperature. Ambient temperature should be between −10 and 50 °C. If the code stays after a rest, the battery is inspected.

Which models show it?

Models that show two-digit codes, such as Max G30 / Max G2, the E series (E2, E2 Pro), the F2 series and the ZT3 Pro

Safe checks you can do yourself

1. Let the scooter rest for at least 30 minutes somewhere between −10 and 50 °C, then switch it on again.
2. Don't charge below 0 °C; let the scooter warm above 10 °C first.

If the code stays after these checks, stop using the scooter and open a service request.
