Segway error code 52: Motor cannot rotate

What does this code mean?

The motor doesn't turn when it should. At the service the motor and the controller are tested separately; a seized bearing can also cause this code.

Which models show it?

Models that show two-digit codes, such as Max G30 / Max G2, the E series (E2, E2 Pro), the F2 series and the ZT3 Pro

Safe checks you can do yourself

1. With the scooter off, turn the wheel by hand; if it drags or grinds, don't ride it.
2. Look for a stone or other object caught between the motor and the fork.

If the code stays after these checks, stop using the scooter and open a service request.
